Frequently asked questions
The questions families ask Mike most, answered the way he answers them. If yours is not here, call or text: mornings are surest.
How do I reserve a puppy?
A ten percent deposit, one hundred dollars minimum, reserves a puppy. Deposits are non-refundable. If you would rather not put down a deposit, you are welcome to visit and pick a puppy out in person.
When can a puppy go home?
Puppies need to be eight weeks old before leaving.
Can we visit before deciding?
Yes. Call Mike to schedule a visit. Children are welcome. We are in Christiana, Pennsylvania, and directions are provided when your visit is scheduled. Whether a litter's parents can be met is noted with each litter.
Do you deliver?
Yes. We work with an individual who delivers door to door on the same day, not in a crowded van with many puppies. A ten percent deposit reserves the puppy and starts delivery scheduling, full payment is due before the puppy leaves, and the delivery fee is paid directly to the driver. Halfway meets and airport meets are also options. Call or text Mike with your location for an estimate.
Are the puppies seen by a vet?
A vet examines the puppies at six weeks, and every puppy goes home with a folder that includes the shot record and health certificate.
Are the puppies registered?
All of our English Bulldogs are AKC registered. Most of our Yorkshire Terriers (Yorkies) are ACA registered, and some of our Olde English Bulldogges are registered with IOEBA. Registration is listed with each litter.
What comes home with the puppy?
A folder with the shot record and health certificate, a small bag of the food the puppy is currently eating, treats, a blanket, a brush, wipes, a pee pad, a travel water bowl, a poop bag dispenser, a squeaky toy, and a treat for the owner.
How do prices work?
Typical price ranges for each breed are on the Our Dogs page. Exact prices are listed with each litter, and calling Mike is the surest way to hear today's numbers.
When is the best time to reach Mike?
Mornings between nine and noon are surest. You can call or text any time, and there are no replies on Sundays.
Can I hear about future litters?
Yes. Call or text Mike and ask to join the waiting list, and litter announcements will be sent to your email.
